McKenna reached out to me about shooting her graduation photos in Brisbane when she found out that COVID had affected traditional graduation events, meaning that the University of Queensland (UQ) had to cancel all grad events.
She didn’t let the COVID blues affect her though, and she made the most of her Med school graduation by requesting to have a couples session done with her partner and boy were they just the cutest!
It was during this session that I learned that Luke is also in the medical field, and was McKenna’s biggest fan and supporter through her Med school days.
I mean just read these words by McKenna about him if you don’t believe me:
Thank you for always being there through this med school journey. Thank you for listening about every terrible or crazy day I had on the wards. Thanks for your patience and support when I was dealing with a hard assignment or crazy FOM decision. Thank you for acting as the patient for countless OSCE and VIVA practice exams. Thanks for being such an excellent nurse and reminding me every day that medical politics should never get in the way of patient care. Thanks for being my shoulder to cry on for my countless breakdowns. Thank you everything you have done for me, and do for me every day, always. I truly could not have made it through this wild and crazy time without your love and support.
BRB. JUST GOING TO THE BATHROOM TO UGLY CRY. This just hit me in the feels soooo hard.
And just to make things more emotional, here are some adorable photos from the session.
